In an attempt to help the networking of members at this years annual conference the CIPD events team have provided all delegates with access to a ‘social networking’ site called “MyEvent“. This is a FaceBook style platform which allows members to ‘meet’, become friends, share session experiences. All in all it looks like an interesting platform.
Just 2 days before the annual conference however usage looks light. Just how much use it will get throughout the conference is debatable, however I suspect it will get more use after the conference has finished and people are exploring just how they can use the material they heard.
